I’m Amy and I am an elementary art teacher, artist, and published author/illustrator. I enjoy being creative in all aspects of life but more importantly, I love helping others find their creativity!
My favorite creative things are home design, making my own art, and teaching art so as you look around my website, you will find original ideas and inspiration for home projects, DIY Art, unique crafts, and interesting art activities for my students.
It is probably no surprise I belong to a family of makers! My husband is a master woodworker while one of my sons makes custom t-shirts, custom furniture, and portable “escape rooms” while another draws and helps find creative solutions for my website. Even my youngest son plays guitar, writes songs, and tinkers on his 3-D printer.
I firmly believe people are happier when they are creating so I am dedicated to sharing my ideas and projects with you!
